“A Night Out with Science” – IKK topics were a big draw for visitors

The IKK explored the question: What is plastic doing in the ocean? Visitors were also able to test their own knowledge of the sustainability of plastics.

We are delighted that there was so much interest in the plastics topics at “A Night Out with Science.” For the IKK faculty, this is an important signal not only to conduct research, but also to communicate it in an accessible, transparent, and understandable way.

The many visitors, questions, and discussions are a great motivation for our daily work and an incentive to develop solutions, especially for the question that concerns us all: How can one of the most important materials of our time be used in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way?
