Since 2024, researcher from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia (Prof Leonie Barner), has been conducting joint research with the IKK on the life cycle assessment of QUT. The first joint research results were recently presented at the 12th Australian Life Cycle Assessment Conference in Melbourne. The focus was on an initial ecological assessment of QUT's environmental impact in 2022. The successful presentation of the initial results on the ecological impact of universities in Australia and the great interest in the results form the basis for further research.
