LUH Business Reception, February 2nd, 2026

The event organized by LUH and UVN focused on the exchange between business and science.

Eight exciting short presentations on the topics of IT security, health, circular economy, and urban development provided stimulating insights and inspired the subsequent exchange.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Josef Endres was there to give an overview of “Plastics recycling as a location factor – developments in Germany, Europe, Asia, and the USA.”

"At the IKK, we conduct very practice-oriented research into the defossilization of the plastics industry and are in close contact with many partners in the plastics industry. In doing so, we ourselves try to take sustainability aspects and economic interests into account and combine them in standardization processes for recycling. Only in this way can we succeed in making Germany, and Lower Saxony in particular, fit for the future. For this reason, I welcome events of this kind and am delighted to be able to participate in them," said Endres shortly before the end of the event.
