During his doctoral studies at Technoform Tailored Solutions Holding GmbH, Nicolas Schiffer focused on the development of graphite-filled thermoplastics for heat transfer applications. These enable heat transfer applications at low temperatures where conventionally used metallic materials are susceptible to corrosion. The innovative materials thus represent an important building block for the energy transition.
In front of family, friends, colleagues, and the examination committee, Nicolas Schiffer successfully defended his doctoral thesis on October 24, 2025, thereby completing his studies. He is now entitled to use the title Dr.-Ing.
