Device model: TG 209 F1 Libra

Manufacturer: NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH

Short description: Vacuum-tight thermo-microbalance for measurements up to 1100 °C with up to 200 K/min with water-cooled furnace. The thermostated ultra-microbalance offers a high resolution of 0.1 µg over the entire measuring range of 2000 mg. Samples with large mass changes can be analysed with high accuracy without switching measuring ranges. Additional information about endo- and exothermic processes (e.g. melting without mass loss or evaporation with mass loss) can be analysed via c-DTA signal.

Samples: Plastics, various fibre composites and composite materials

Applications: Material identification, analysis of material composition, investigation of thermal decomposition and degradation behaviour
