From 22 - 26 April 2024, the IKK will be presenting the ReKon project at the Lower Saxony joint stand of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK). The project aims to develop a concept for high-quality mechanical recycling of previously non-recyclable waste streams in technical applications. From a recycling point of view, one challenging input stream of technically high-quality plastic components are the blades of dismantled wind turbines, which are also being analysed in the project. The project is also further developing the recycling of waste streams from the mobility, pharmaceutical and electrical/electronic sectors.
